School Groups — Generally The Great Lakes Children’s Museum offers educational programs for children in preschool and grades K - 6. These programs have been carefully designed to coordinate with science and social studies curricula, and are based on state and national standards. A visit to the Museum gives students the opportunity to use what they know and to become more deeply engaged in independent learning in a fun and hands-on environment. Teachers will receive a pre-visit packet with background information and suggested activities to help prepare students for their trip to the Museum, and a letter confirming the day, time and cost of the scheduled visit. |
