Come see The Curiosity Place

Curiosity Place, powered by the Great Lakes Children’s Museum, is our new location in the Grand Traverse Mall. Curiosity Place not only provides indoor educational play, but also the programs you love, new camps and clubs, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and the Power of Play Store.

This place will also allow us to prototype new exhibits and experiences while we prepare to create something new for the Grand Traverse Region and beyond.

Admission

Walk-ins admitted if capacity allows. Reservations are recommended to guarantee your spot. Click here for tickets.

$9.00 per person age 1 and up. Members are free.
Discount for Active Duty Military and up to 7 guests. ID required.

  • NOTE: General Admission guests may share Museum galleries with Birthday Parties and Field Trips. Check our calendar on the events page for details.
  • Tuesday–Saturday
  • 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • NOTE: Closed to the public from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month for the 5toOne Playgroup. Sign up for the playgroup at www.greatstartkids.com

ACM Memberships!

The Great Lakes Children’s Museum is a member of the Association of Children’s Museums, meaning that our members can get discounts at museums across the country and beyond! The red ACM logo is your ticket to museums everywhere. Likewise, GLCM will give any visitor from another Museum 50% off admissions when they present their membership card with the red circle logo.

Programming & operations are partially supported through grants from the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (MACC) and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Certain projects are funded in part by Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
