These incredible experiences have all been coordinated and donated by extremely generous community members who support the Great Lakes Children’s Museum. Please, open your hearts and bid as much for the Museum as for the experience itself. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

 

 

1. Musical Party with your Kids! Does your child love to make up their own songs? Welcome a local professional musician for a “Create You Own Songs” Party for your little musical angel and up to 20 friends at the Museum! You will receive a 2 and ½ hour birthday party in the Great Lakes Room of the Museum during normal operating hours, as well as a facilitated 30-45 minute Learning Through Play song creation activity for the kids! Guaranteed to be a birthday to remember!

 

2. For Adults Only! Two of our fabulous board members and instructors at Interlochen Arts Academy have donated a private Sip-and-Paint party right here in the Museum! No children allowed, just a chance to come and have a great time with friends. All supplies are provided, and each participant gets to take home a wonderful piece of art for their wall. Oh, and did we mention the wine is included!?

 

3. Lake Ann Camp Party! We all know that GLCM Birthday parties rock for those little ones, but what about something different for your older child in 2018? Just a short 20 minute drive from Traverse City, Lake Ann Camp has donated a fun and unique birthday party celebration for your child and their friends! Choose from one of two unique packages crafted for your child’s age group: either 3^rd-5^th grade (a Bog Tour, lunch and a ball game for 20 kids and 4 adults) or 6^th-8^th grade (Laser Tag in the woods and lunch for 12 kids and 2 adults). Package to be used March – May of 2018. Sure to be a great ½ day party!

 

4. What happens in a Museum at night? Well, you can find out with an overnight “Night at the Museum” Party! Up to 12 children with adult supervision will be able to enjoy the Great Lakes Children’s Museum OVERNIGHT! This unique opportunity is only available once a year for one special kiddo and their guests. Let your child live out their fantasy- playing Hide and Seek with their friends in the dark- and having the Museum all to themselves all night long!

 

5. The whole rink to yourself! Haven’t you always imagined having just that!? Center I.C.E. has graciously donated 1.5 hours of ice time for a Skating Party- which includes skate rentals for up to 50 people and use of the Community Room for two hours! For little skaters, (and some adults,) this is truly a dream come true!

 

6. A view from the top! The Franklin Restaurant in downtown Traverse City has graciously offered the winner of this item and their lucky guests a special table for eight during the 2018 Junior Royale Parade! Everyone can stand on the edge to enjoy the parade from the Front Street section of the deck! Food, tax, and gratuity are all included, but alcohol is not.

 

7. Camp Greilick Create Your Own Adventure Private Experience! In 2017, Rotary Camps and Services made a commitment to expand services and offerings to the community. What does this mean for you and your party? That in exchange for your donation to the Great Lakes Children’s Museum (another Rotary supported initiative) you can enjoy 1/2 day (up to 4 hours) of programming built to suit the desires of your private party. Let your imagination run wild on this one! Visualize an outdoor birthday party for children or adults, a corporate retreat/team building situation, a family reunion, guided snowshoe/hike/fishing/boating/swimming, shooting sports, instructed time on the climbing tower, or ALMOST anything else you can dream up! Some date restrictions may apply to certain events.

 

8. Opportunity to Join the Mile High Club in Traverse City! This flight is about you and will be catered to your liking! Standard flight time is one hour, but flights can be longer or shorter. Once we are in the air and level above 5280 feet, you will be free to move around the cabin as you please!

 

9. Family time on Mackinac Island! Your family deserves a vacation- how about an overnight stay at the Lilac Tree Hotel & Spa during the 2018 season? This package includes four Starline passes, as well as dinner for four at the Pink Pony! (Dinner excludes alcohol, and visit should be Sun-Thurs, excluding July & Aug, on mutually agreed upon dates.)

 

10. Private Movie Showing at the State Theatre! Bring a group of up to 50 people on a Sunday between 10:00 am and 12 noon (date to be agreed upon between the theater and item winner), and the theater will be at your disposal! Your party can watch any film available on Blu-ray in our downtown, world-renowned State Theatre. VIP Treatment includes popcorn and soda for all!

 

11. Expect Ambitious Results! ½ Day Corporate Team building Session for a group of 6-500 in the TC area! Led by experienced therapist, speaker and consultant Joseph R. Sanok. Joe has been featured in Forbes, Huffington Post, and Reader’s Digest. Your personalized session will include tangible techniques and takeaways that you can employ NOW, for all types of groups.

 

12. 4 Lions NFL Tickets with Hotel! 4 tickets to one of the home games of your choice in the 2018 season. Options include the New England Patriots, Green Bay, Chicago, Minnesota, Los Angeles (Rams), Seattle, Carolina, and New York Jets. You can even pick the Thanksgiving 2018 game! You and your guests will be sitting on the Lower Level sideline, within 7 rows of the field, near the 10 yard line. 13. Walt Disney World, anyone? Yes, please! Take your family on the trip of a lifetime- to Walt Disney World in Florida! This package includes four One-Day Park Hopper passes to any of the Disney theme parks- a $648 value. In addition, Cherry Capital Airport- Fly TVC has provided four $250 gift cards to be used towards four airline tickets on any flights departing and returning to TVC.
