Thankful for Family, Saturday, November 9

Join Challenge Island for a fun family night of exciting challenges designed to get everyone creating together and cheering for their island tribe on Saturday, November 9 from 6 to 8 pm at the Great Lakes Children’s Museum.

Holidays are great times for reflection. Our November Challenge Island activity transforms family time together into laughing, learning, playing and problem-solving all in a fun, party atmosphere to inspire creativity! Challenges are designed for all ages, child to grandparent, and are as hard or simple as your family makes them. Create your family’s favorite meal – whether it comes from passed down family recipes or anonymous recipes your family has come to love.

Did you know Presidents have been pardoning turkeys this time of year for decades? In honor of that tradition, your family can take part in a Pardon My Turkey challenge. Come learn about the adventures of some of the pardoned turkeys while enjoying family time together and conquering incredible challenges using only the materials in your treasure chest and the power of your imagination! At Challenge Island, we are dedicated to ensuring a brighter future for our kids and our communities by helping you prepare your child to succeed in the 21st century.
