Children’s Museum Announces Survey Participation Winner
Sara Caldwell of Suttons Bay will receive a complimentary $25 Grab & Go Gift Bag from the Power of Play Store. Her name was selected by random draw from a list of people who completed a recent survey towards the end of summer. Nearly 250 people weighed in on the survey created and administered by Avenue ISR of Traverse City.
“The survey results have already begun to inform how we think and will operate going forward,” said Mike Long, Executive Director for the Great Lakes Children’s Museum. The survey included questions about virtual programs, Covid-19 concerns, facility operations, and thinking on long term location.
“Children’s museums are meant to be reflective of their Community – and we appreciate the community letting us know what they want from their Museum,” Long said.
The museum is in the process of getting ready to reopen after shutting down on March 16 to support the effort to control the Covid-19 pandemic locally. Going forward, admission will initially be by reservation only. There will be general admission days, and days where the facility can be rented by a single group of up to 50 Covid-Preparedness aligned people.
