Come one, come all! Be safe this fall!

Join us outside the Great Lakes Children’s Museum on Saturday, September 30 for a day of safety and fun!

At the beginning of the summer this year, we hosted our very first Water Safety Day. The event made such a splash that we decided we’d try something similar a few months later. Introducing…

Just like its predecessor, Fall Safety Day will be a great opportunity for your little ones to learn about safety from local experts. This time, the  hands-on activities will include:  learning about fire hoses and fire safety with the Elmwood Fire Department, getting an up-close look at a Leelanau Co. Sheriff’s squad car and discovering the science behind electrical wires and how to stay safe with Cherryland Electric Cooperative. As a bonus, all visitors will be entered into a drawing for a free, brand-new car seat!

Join us for Fall Safety Day on September 30 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm!

This event is FREE with no registration required and will take place right outside the Children’s Museum. Those wanting to play inside the Museum must pay daily admission and are encouraged to make a reservation ahead of time here.

A big thank you to all of the community partners that helped make Fall Safety Day possible!
