What do seeds need to get growing? What if we took away air, water, dirt or light? Would the seeds still grow? We will set up some experiments to watch and find out. Time will tell. Plant some seeds and take the experiment home with you to find out what happens.

Explore what sand is made of using a magnifying hand lens. Why does sand stick together? Have any living critters become part of sand over time? Do experiments and find out.

Suck It Up!

Find out what amazing things you can do with a simple straw. (besides drinking your juice) As it turns out, straws have a bunch of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math for us to discover. Make a straw rocket to take home.
