Get Involved
Volunteers are crucial to sustaining the museum. In the next year we hope to establish volunteering opportunities starting at age 10 and up from there!
Admission fees and museum store sales cover only about half the costs of operating the Great Lakes Children’s Museum. That means the rest of the dollars needed to keep offering hands-on educational opportunities to the children and families in the Grand Traverse Bay come through:
- Grants
- Fundraising activities
- Business donations
- Individual donations
We recognize donors on an ongoing basis through our website and within the museum on our recognition display.
