Museum Offers Mini-Human March for Martin
The Great Lakes Children’s Museum is offering an opportunity for mini-humans (and their adults) to participate in a march to honor the vision and dream of Martin Luther King. Anyone interested in participating can show up on Monday, January 18 (MLK Day) at the main Norte Building (1213 Civic Center Dr) at 11 am. The main Norte building is at the SOUTH side of Civic Park.
Participants are encouraged to think about Dr. King’s dream, create a simple sign showing something from MLK’s dream they would like to see happen in their lifetime, then bring that sign to the mini-human march.
We doubt it will be a million mini-human march – but it will be a socially distant celebration of the life of Dr. King. Masks will be required for anyone 3 and older.
RSVP’s are appreciated to info@glcm.org but not required to participate. The parade starts at 11 am – don’t be late.
