GLCM’s Peace Day in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Join GLCM for the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Peace Day Celebration!
When: Monday January 16, in both sessions: 12:00-2:00 & 2:30-4:30
Who wants Peace on Earth? We do!
But wait… what is Peace, exactly?
Being kind to others? Being friends with everyone? Sharing and helping wherever we can? Understanding our differences? Dealing with our feelings?
Hands-on, peace-promoting activity stations will be set up in the Great Lakes Room throughout each session. There will be a special story time beginning one hour after the start of each session. Activities and story time are included with admission to the museum.
“Peace is a puzzle waiting to be solved, Peace is a story waiting to be told.” – Peace Talk 2001-2002
School is out, and it’s a perfect day for some Learning Through Play in the Museum! Come to the Great Lakes Children’s Museum on Dr.Martin Luther King Day to explore and celebrate Peace!
